1. God
We believe in one living God, who created the universe and who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
2. Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh and our Living Hope. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died upon the cross for the atonement of our sins. He was resurrected from the dead according to the Scriptures. He is exalted at the right hand of God and will come again to establish His kingdom of righteousness and peace.
3. Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is God, the Lord, and giver of life. He dwells in believers equipping and empowering them for lives of holiness and fruitful service.
4. Bible
The Bible, both Old and New Testaments together, is Holy Scripture. It is the divine, infallible and authoritative Word of God. The Bible is the source of all doctrine, instruction, correction, and reproof. It contains all that is needed for guidance practical Christian conduct.
5. Sin
Sin offends the holiness of God, separates us from our Lord, and leads to spiritual death. It destroys our relationship with God. All people are born with a sinful nature, are separated from God. Christ’s vicarious death on the cross paid the penalty for the sins of the whole world, opened the way of rescue from sin and death, reconciling the world to God but its benefits are only applicable to those who receive Jesus as their personal Savior.
6. Salvation
God’s way of salvation has been revealed in Jesus Christ. Those who repent and believe in Him are united with Christ through the Holy Spirit and are thereby born again and granted the gift of eternal life as children of God. Salvation comes from God’s grace and is received through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
7. Baptism
Baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. It is a sign of our union with Christ through which we put on Christ and are identified with His death and resurrection. Baptism signifies the washing away of sin, the start of new life in Christ, and the gift of the Holy Spirit.
8. Church
The universal Church, of which Christ is the Head, consists of all those who believe in Jesus Christ, are redeemed through His blood, regenerated by the Holy Spirit, and appointed by Christ to go into all the world as a witness, preaching the Gospel to all nations.
9. Second Coming of Christ
The second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is imminent and will be personal and visible. He will come on a day that has been appointed, as judge to raise the righteous unto eternal blessing and the unrighteous unto eternal separation from God.
